Fluency that is
genuinely rare

I’ve spent my career building bridges between the NHS and industry. Someone has to be in the room who understands both sides, and means it.

About Anusha

Anusha Hopkins is a nationally recognised Senior Pharmacist and healthcare strategist with over 17 years of NHS and industry experience, specialising in high-cost medicines, homecare, commissioning and market access.

Her career spans local, regional and national leadership roles, with homecare as a defining thread throughout. She has served as Senior Lead Homecare Pharmacist, Regional Homecare Lead for the East Midlands, and a member of the National Homecare Medicines Committee, shaping governance, service models and national standards at every level.

Within Kandarp Thakkar Consultants, Anusha leads on pharmaceutical industry engagements and medicines access work. She has chaired NHS England groups, contributed to national policy, authored white papers, presented internationally and been shortlisted for HSJ recognition, bringing the kind of NHS-industry fluency that is genuinely rare.

How Anusha Works

Anusha cuts to the point, diplomatically, but without hesitation. She holds her position in a room full of senior stakeholders and is usually right. Her credibility comes from evidence and preparation, not volume: she has done the homework before anyone else has opened the agenda. She is at her best when the problem is complex, the stakes are high and someone needs to make sense of competing priorities without losing sight of what actually matters for patients.

Access to innovative medicines shouldn’t depend on which postcode you live in or which table you manage to get a seat at. That’s what drives me.
